Fasting from 1 day to 5 days without food, drinking water only.

Fasting, and in particular adopting a diet low in protein, has been associated with an extended life expectancy in animal studies. Fasting appears to promote levels of human growth hormone, a hormone that plays an important role in growth and repair, metabolism, weight loss, muscle strength and exercise performance.  This study has been designed for anyone considering undergoing a fast to lose weight 

We monitor the following:

  1. Weight Loss
  2. Cravings,
  3. Pain & Discomfort,
  4. Emotional State,
  5. Mental Acuteness, and;
  6. Energy Levels
This course starts with an introduction to fasting and ends with the creation of a data chart to identify any patterns that occur whilst on the fast.
